Our Story
Hello,
My name is Leyna Van Buskirk, the heart behind this vintage flower cart and english tea experience. My journey into this business is rooted in love-for flowers, for tea, for family, and for creating beautiful, meaningful moments.

After spending 12 years in the hospitality field, I left the corporate world in 2014 to become a stay-at-home mom when my first child was born. Not long after, I found joy in floral design and began creating wedding florals. When the world slowed down during Covid, I paused my business to focus on my growing family and began cultivating my English rose garden, which now flourishes with over 60 varieties - mostly cottage-style English roses.
Tending to our flowers has been a cherished part of our daily lives - a source of joy and endless inspiration. Along the way, I found myself wanting to bring together three of my greatest loves: roses, antiques, and tea. There's something so comforting and beautiful about the way they each carry a sense of nostalgia and warmth. I dreamed of merging them into something tangible - something that others could experience and enjoy as much as I do. And so, the idea began to take root, inspired by the garden and nurtured by the things I love most.
My love for tea runs deep. It started with my dad, who always enjoyed a good cup, and grew even stronger after I married into a tea-loving family. My moter-in-law, with her beautiful vintage tea sets and warm hospitality, inspired me to host my first English tea party for my daughter's first birthday-fulfilling a lifelong dream to have tea parties with a daughter of my own.

This business is lovingly dedicated to my father, who instilled in me a deep love for both the garden, tea and the love and kindness for others. He had a quiet way of appreciating the beauty in simple things. I know he would be so proud to see how this dream has blossomed. Though he is no longer with us, I feel his presence in every rose that blooms and every cup that's poured. I miss him every day, but in the stillness of the garden, I know he's there - smiling, watching, and guiding me with love.

With Love and Tea,
